If for any reason, you are having difficulties sending in your draft reflective essays, proposals or research drafts, please do not hesitate to contact me. Checking in with MAPP students

Dear MaPP students, Many thanks to those who have contacted me initially, now that I am taking on Helen's work during her period of absence. Adesola has posted via the VLE my contact/office hours. As you know I work part time elsewhere, whilst I receive a lot of emails, but not able to respond straight away, I do check emails regularly . Rest assured and do not worry I will respond. Many thanks to Module 1 AOL titles I have received so far. They are all really interesting and I look forward to reading the drafts when they are due in soon - this weekend! Also many thanks to those who have submitted queries for Module 2 also. Any thoughts, reflections and comments, please post them on this blog. It is always good to get a sense of who, where fellow MAPPers are during this process whether at the beginning in Module 1 right up to Module 3, where all of these rich and collective learning experiences in practice can be applied to your Research inquiry and beyond....

Hello from Hopal

Dear MAPP Students, It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you via this forum as an Advisor on your programme of study. My role is to work with, advise and support you with your studies during the short period of Helen’s absence. I am looking forward to making connections with you all. Undertaking a period of study as a former distance learner, I am aware of the challenges and great opportunities this programme offers, to connect with like-minded students who are engaging on a path of professional practice, debate, sharing insights and embodied knowledge. My interest in Higher Education focuses on professional development and practice from my lens as an artist as educator, and the journey it has led me to, today. Currently I work part time as a Lecturer in Dance Education at the Royal Academy of Dance. I am also a freelance practitioner and teacher of contemporary dance in a variety of dance settings. I look forward to our connections and discussions. Hopal
